• Game Boy Dmg Region Locked

Hey folks. This is my first time posting here. I just recently got my USB cart for Gameboy (Dreg n Derp Cart) And I want to get a custom LSDJ label printed that I made. The label is made to look like an official gameboy game, and I also swapped the guts of the Derpcart into an official cartridge shell.

Jul 06, 2007  Is the Gameboy Micro region free? Hopefully gonna buy a GBM during my visit to Germany, but when I get it back to the UK, will it work with games bought in the UK? As with the Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Advance SP systems, there are no regional lockouts on software, so North American games can be played on Japanese or European hardware. Would I be able to play an American Game Boy Advance game on my European DS via the GBA slot at the bottom of the device? I know the on the whole Nintendo don't region-lock their portables (at least before the 3DS came out) but I just want to be 100% sure. Yea, usually Nintendo handhelds are region-free, so no worries! The DS is also region-free, for future reference.

I am wondering if anyone knows a place that can print completely custom labels at the proper size and such of the real cartridges?

The real labels are 42mm x 37mm with a slight bevel, and the left and right edges of th elabel where it says the model# and 'made in japan' are printed with a silver shimmer. By the looks of it the labels are screenprinted, not dyed.

• Is there any region lock on GBC? I have a gameboy from Australia and found Pokemon crystal which is from America. Will I be able to play the American game on my game boy?
• Oct 14, 2007 Are Gameboy games region free? I'm going to America this week and wondering if I could buy a Gameboy game from Nintendo world and if it would work on a UK GB/GBA or DS:).

According to the Gameboy Player FAQ: 'The Game Boy Player, from Japan so far, will play any Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance from any region of the world (North America, Europe, Japan, Australia, etc.).

Anyone know where I could get a high quality print of my labels? Id prefer if I can work closely with the company making the prints.

Once I make my first run I'll share all the graphics with the forum here for free, and offer the high quality ones for a cheap price if I can.
